Liver congestion; most common use for
hemmorhoids and chronic tonsillitis.

Burning nasal discharge, sneezing, ear pain in children.
Worse in a warm room, better in open air.

Skin problems alternating with
diarrhea, tongue coated.

Quick localized swellings with edema.
Constricted feelings. First degree sunburn.

Physical trauma especially to muscles. Any bleeding, contusions. Worse with the slightest touch, bed seems too hard.

Slowing of everything.
Especially mental functions.

Hot throbbing burning sensations. Intense thirst alternating with difficulty swallowing, first day of tonsillitis.

Colds. Influenza. Respiratory tract inflammations, frozen shoulder, large joint tearing pains. Worse with motion, warmth, after eating; better motionless, with pressure, cold application.

Heavy, slow, greedy, fearful. Poor digestion and elimination. Worse with dampness and exercise, better with dry weather. Mineralization problems, knee problems.

Teething. Tearing spasmodic pains. Extremely restless. Improved by bending forward, worse with anger, at night.

Colic. Contraction of muscles.

Tongue half coated. Used for coryza, hay fever,
nausea with faintness, constipation, liver congestion.

Tonic for young
depressed cardiac patient.

Influenza. All over aches.
Eyes very sensitive, nausea.

Fever. Pain, inflammation, especially shoulder. Moves worse with contact, noise, movement. Better with cold.

For fever, trembling. When illness is not evolving. Sleeps all day. No thirst. Influenza and sore throat, developing slowly.

Urgent stools, dark bleeding. Improved with rest.
Helps with blood clotting.

Sinusitis, smells like old cheese. Chronic tonsillitis.
Very sensitive to dry cold.

Changeable mind. Anxiety with inhibition, brooding. Hyper-excitability of nervous system. Emotional shocks.

Spasmodic cough. Turns pale, stays pale.
Nausea. Pale diarrhoea. Tongue is clean.

Chronic sore throat, worse on the left; left sciatica.
Worse in the morning, improved in the evening.

For punctures, infected bites.

Has a deep action. Not repeated often. Childhood
eczema, liver disorders. Touchy, perfectionist. Fears failure.

High fevers, sticky sweat, intense thirst. Bacterial infections of sinuses, tonsils, tending to suppurate. Worse at night, with any temperature change. Better with rest.

Asthma, otitis media. Ear infection. Tired with fits of restlessness. Very thirsty. Improved by hot drinks.

After effects of restrained anger/repeated sorrow. Prevention of sun allergy. Not repeated often.
Worse with consolation, radiant heat. Better in the open air.

Portal stasis, pelvic pathologies, back pain. Sad anxious, indifferent attitude. Worsened with cold, after rest. Improved with vigorous exercise, afternoons. Pre-menstrual tension, menstrual pressure, emotional upsets, collapse.

Aversion to water. Itchy when washed.

Injury to bone, fractures.

For chronic urinary tract infection. After vaccinations.
For obsessional thinking.

Hysterical faintness, numbness of extremities.
Diarrhea after a fright.
